Interesting theory with supporting evidence: both pipes of the Nordstream 1 pipeline were blown up by Russia... After one of the two Nordstream 2 pipes ruptured due to bad workmanship.
Also relevant, Nordstream 2 was blown up in the deepest part of the entire pipe. Which is actually _good_ if you want to repair it in the future, as that reduces the amount of seawater that enters, and thus reduces the length of pipe damaged by corrosion. If you were trying to destroy it for good, you'd blow it up in a shallower part, allowing the rest to flood.
