In the same survey, the NCVO also found that mirky half of surveyed charities had had significant problems with their #banks, including a number of preemptory closures of accounts with no reasons given.
As Helen Stephenson (Charity Commission) put if the #banks need 'do a bit to try & make [their] business work for these organisations, instead of trying to make these organisations work for [their] business'.
The NCVO survey suggests that the UK dependence of the third sector may be precarious!
