M&P Shield Plus does the job for me. Muddy river tactical has kydex IWB holsters that clip inside of my jogging jorts comfortably. Haven't researched belly bands but that's not a bad idea. The Shield line has a lot of aftermarket support and there are options for thumb safeties (I prefer to have one).
