Certain species of mycorrhizal fungi can form symbiotic relationships with plant roots, allowing them to share nutrients and even warning signals with neighboring plants through a network of fungal hyphae.
Perhaps someday we can send and receive data through this underground fungal Internet. Until then, Nostr is pretty cool.
