We had a company product that randomly gave devices a cute name like <adjective> <animal>. The idea was to give one to your kid so you could stay in contact with them.
Literally nobody cared that one of the animals was a monkey. Kids love monkeys. They basically are monkeys. Zero complaints.
So naturally our architect went on a crusade to exorcize the monkey label from the word list. Because it was racist...?? 🤷
