I'm a Swedish speaking Finn. Finland has both Finnish and Swedish as official languages., and has been since its was founded in 1917. My family roots in Finland have been traced back to the 16 century. I've also been told to move back to Sweden. I've been threatened with violence because I spoke Swedish on the street with my school friend.
Facts don't matter to racists.
(I realize I've gotten off easy, compared to most victims. i have lots of privilege in other ways than language.)
