Discord is awful isn't it? I grudgingly set up an account there to follow a pioneering project a friend of mine was running. Occasionally some similar situation drags me back there *shudder*.
I really want to see the EU do a DMA enforcement on them as a gatekeeper, and make them allow third-party client apps to connect to their rooms (eg Matrix bridging).
