Share something you like and dislike about your first drafts
I would say "earlier" & "later" drafts rather than "first," as I don't write books in one go all the way through. I go back a chapter or 2 each writing session & will edit. For the very first version of a passage, I like the way it surpasses my rough outline & comes to life. But early drafts are bare bones when it comes to descriptions & other details, which are added later so not as pretty.
