how do toasters work? the brownness setting specifically. is that a function of time or of voltage?
because my toaster makes everything much browner than it should, but the setting still seems to have some kind of effect, just above 40% everything is just burnt black, the very lowest setting gives something reasonably toasted, but now you can’t get an actualy low setting anymore and i wonder if that’s something i can fix. if it’s just a potentiometer or something i could replace that?
