i used to do the normalized thing as well. also got bitcoin 4 years ago. now, i'm 45, my university job is about to run out and i'm thinking... do i really want to wait 20 years?
i liquidated my pension fund and i'll go to south america. can i retire? well, if bitcoin has a run again in the next 4 years, maybe. if not, i'll have to replan. but i'm done planning cautiously for an imaginary distant future.
