While not every postdoc can be fully or partially remote, I would strongly encourage PI's and other hiring managers to consider the option, particularly for short-term positions and largely computer-based work. I'm seeing where that may be happening already with internships, too.
I can't overstate how much that matters for providing access to opportunities to people who would otherwise have to pass for any number of family, financial, or other reasons.
