Chasing the Palestinians off their land has been Israel's strategy for the past 50 years. Many have left already, but those still there know that if they leave, they can never return. They can continue to be dispersed to places where they have no community, but they want to be with their own in a state of their own. No country will volunteer a portion of their territory to allow the creation of another state just to allow Israel to create a greater Israel.
