Having another spot of demoralisation after being as good as shouted at by my GP, who is ever so rude (maybe just Dutch directness as they say in the UK). But the Prunus cerasifera seedling from my Berkhamsted garden is flowering for the first time and is so pretty. It is an in between form: neither the ordinary green leaved with white flowers nor the 'Nigra' with purple leaves and pink flowers, rather green to bronze leaves and fading pink flowers.
