Maybe I went a bit overboard with the clouds—then again, maybe with the hill as well. In the end, this image finds itself in good company. In fact, I’ve held back compared to the incredibly dramatic skies of Sebastião Salgado, whose work I deeply admire. But what does 'overdone' even mean? It's all a matter of context. Besides, I’m not aiming to capture reality—what even is that, anyway?
