Humanity has had three dominant global monetary technologies.
Gold which was amazing at transferring value across time but not across space.
Fiat which was a proxy for gold was amazing at transferring value across space but not across time.
And now bitcoin which is capable of transferring value across both space and time.
You exist at the inflection point where humanity switched from gold our only global money over the last five thousand years to a digitized version of gold called bitcoin.
Just like it would have behooved you to get your hands on as much gold as you could during the early stages of golds monetization. It makes sense to get your hands on as much bitcoin as you can now during the changeover from gold to bitcoin.
The transition is volatile but real and those of us who have been here for awhile have watched and are continuing to watch it play out over time.
