As maximalists, we argue that this network effect gives Bitcoin a significant advantage over other cryptocurrencies in terms of adoption and value.
4. Security: Bitcoin's proof-of-work consensus mechanism is seen as highly secure and battle-tested, providing a robust defense against attacks. We maximalists trust Bitcoin's security features to protect your wealth.
5. Store of value: We maximalists see Bitcoin as a store of value, comparing it to digital gold. We believe that Bitcoin's scarcity and limited supply make it an ideal hedge against inflation and economic uncertainty;
6. Simplicity: Bitcoin maximalism advocates simplicity and focus, arguing that Bitcoin's core value proposition as digital gold is clear and easily understandable compared to the often complex and experimental features of other cryptocurrencies;
