Yes, that is extremely relatable. I think one of the very great joys of our relationship is sparring with each other. Whilst I was doing dinner tonight she insisted the TV didn't work. I (of course) said that was because noone was truly applying themselves to the task and that it was as simple as pressing the 'on' button. She protested. I protested. She protested more. To which I responded 'fine - I will walk away from cooking dinner and come and press the 'on' button for you, but only if you give me £20. DO YOU ACCEPT THE TERMS?' She of course agreed and so I made my way t'ward the arena of The Living Room, at which point I pressed said 'on' button...... whilst 'secretly' also changing the hdmi input. I fear she may have been wise to my move, but there is NO PROOF, SIR. And so I demanded my £20 recompense, to which she declared I must 'get fucked'. I'm sure neither of us has heard the last of this.
