I have a short notice appointment for a day surgery next week. I can't drive there because I'm not supposed to drive back. Public transport won't get me there early enough. There's no such thing as hospital transport any more. Local voluntary drivers are booked up 2 weeks in advance. The council on-demand local transport wants about £150. Oh and I'd been on the surgery waiting list for 30 months. Maybe Rachel or Wes would like to donate for a taxi?
