Ok, a few are asking why I say I collect lighthouses. So, over the next few weeks I am going to be sharing my collection. Maybe that will answer the question.

I try to take photos with me standing by the lighthouse, but some I was unable to get myself and the lighthouse. With that said all photos are mine. Yes, I have been to all of these places in person. I like to explore and this is how I collect things.

Number 1.

According to the NPS, "The Cape Hatteras Lighthouse protects one the the most hazardous sections of the Atlantic Coast."

This one was built in 1870.
