This is delightful to watch, in no small part because these folks are lawyers. They aren’t taking these pleas to minimize the risk of losing their entire lives the way most criminal defendants do. They’re pleading out because they’re all guilty as hell and knew it before they were ever charged. It’s purely earned punishment.
