Interesting times in Kapiti.
Te Atiawa had a pa on the north side of the Waikanae River which was vanquished by Raukawa.
Everyone was there: NZ company, missionaries, surgeons, Wakefield, Te Rauparaha (who was trying to mediate as he had family on both sides).
Talking to both Raukawa and Te Atiawa may be productive.
André Baker might be a good person to talk to.
