I think It’s not an easy situation, and I’m not the best to talk about it Nobody around me likes #bitcoin (family, friends, coworkers) they think #btc is too volatile and/or they doesn’t have money to risk, they prefer to buy dollars as a store of value (not now because dollar is getting cheaper against pesos), put their pesos in a fixed-term deposit (45% APY now with 218% of inflation), or buy durable goods, as a way to lose less.
I think the main issue is we need the money to live, so we can’t buy something we really don’t know how it works, because we need the money of our salary to use it before the end of the month.
I think there is people who works for other countries that prefer usdt and any other stable coin as a salary.
I hear there is a big community of bitcoin and “cryptos” in Argentina, there is an NGO and other institutions trying to teach people about it, but I don’t see any bitcoin logo on the streets, I never saw a guy with a bitcoin cap or a t-shirt, but I think this is mainly for safety reasons.
