Question for Webdev People: Is it still uncouth to use tables for layout?
My specific use case is that I'm writing a webapp that should work on any browser. So no JS and CSS needs to be optional.
Tables are the only way I've found to get forms to align when CSS may not be supported. Is there anything better available? Is there a compelling reason to avoid tables?
