Even before Harris joined the race, I’ve been optimistic because:
- Trump barely won in 2016, Harris is a better candidate than Clinton
- 8 years worth of boomers have died of old age (and Covid).
- 8 years worth of Gen Z became eligible to vote.
- The loss of Roe vs Wade pushed many women and anyone who empathises with women further left.
- Trump has had scandal after scandal, which might not affect his core base, but surely chip away at his wider audience.
