My understanding is that Bolt 12 solves a lot of issues re: invoices, but channel liquidity management still falls to the schlep holding the 24 words. Fall asleep at that wheel, and your Wallet is crippled in one direction or both (inbound/outbound).
Until either liquidity can be "auto balanced", or predatory regulators back off (won't happen - ever, in the US) and therefore a Wallet Service provider could balance things for normies/normies-adjacent...
