Okay so we've established that I hate needles.
But I don't think I'd quite grasped how incredibly thin the needle would be. I am quite myopic and didn't have my glasses on: I could barely see it and I didn't even feel it.
My main concern now is the possibility of intense nausea and uncontrollable vomiting, which ALSO characterised my experience of treatment for a blood disorder.
Lots of memories to process here.
Anyway, fingers crossed this lowers my cholesterol from 8-ish to below 4 ('dangerous').
