I have a couple shimmer inks but I keep them in TWSBI Diamond 580 ALRs which seal extremely well. So far I haven't had any issues with clogging on those.
I've had that Candy Sea ink dry up in two pens now. It's not a shimmer ink, but a heavy sheening ink. It's reflective when the light hits it, even when dry. This Hongdian clogged badly, but the other one I got it cleaned in time before it gummed up. I have the same ink in a flex pen and it's been OK there, though.
