I judge the state of the economy by cars. In 2007 I made a mental note of how many nice cars parked in the drives around areas that you wouldn’t expect them. Just a few days ago i saw a VERY nice Land Rover parked on the street with a for sale sign. It’s a dumb theory but cars are the canary in the coal mine for me.
