Some people in notoriously freeze peach oriented instances repeatedly spam trending hashtags with all sorts of cringe stuff.
I suspect they are infiltrated and do that to force banning of said instances all across the fediverse so information and opinions that actually matter are always kept in a corral and never get any traction outside of their bubble.
Or maybe these cringe posters are just stupid and I am giving them too much credit.
