I've seen some people who are definitely boys raised by single mothers (or absent fathers) who view Putin as a surrogate father figure and what Russia is doing to Ukraine as some sort of escapist fantasy rage release. This paradigm is not exclusive to leftoids and their relationship with Democratic party and USA.
