Trying to say that “I didn’t do this because I didn’t sign a note saying I did”, is like saying, I didn’t rob a store because I didn’t testify that I did.
No one will ever admit to wrongdoing unless they have to, and not admitting does not dismiss the fact that the security camera showed you robbed the store.
