
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Defense, met with Sheikh Surour bin Mohammed Al Nahyan at Al Bahar Palace in Abu Dhabi, as part of his efforts to strengthen the bond of communication and cohesion, which is one of the most important characteristics of the Emirati people. They exchanged congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, praying for the blessings of Allah to be upon the UAE, its leadership, and its people, and to grant them more prosperity, progress, and happiness under the leadership of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum engaged in a conversation with the attendees about the virtues of the holy month of Ramadan, its connection to the values of generosity, charity, and good deeds, which are deeply rooted in the UAE and its people, following the path set by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him, and the noble principles that he instilled in the hearts of the Emirati people, including unity, solidarity, and unlimited giving and initiative to spread good deeds among people. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended an iftar dinner hosted by Sheikh Surour bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, in honor of his presence. The dinner was also attended by Major General Sheikh Ahmed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the UAE Armed Forces, Sheikh Mohamed bin Surour bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Zayed bin Surour bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, and a number of sheikhs, dignitaries, and tribal leaders, and senior officials.
