I guess I wonder whether a company’s CEO and its employees aren’t basically working for two different companies: Employees are trying to sell products and services, and they are measured by credits and debits: actual, literal sales and expenses. They work in the realm of the empirical. CEOs are trying to manipulate share prices. They work in the realm of psychology, bullshit and faith.
