There was a rumour going around in the Montréal performing arts world (back when I worked for the ballet so early 90s) that Lolita was actually about an older female Québec singer that she was involved with (can't remember which one right now)and that Angélil was nothing other than her (well-paid) beard and manager. That would explain why all her kids were conceived through IVF.
