All these alpha obsessed men talking about the hustle and grind, and getting no sleep because they're working, also seem to see themselves as predator-like. They compare themselves with wolves and panthers and such.

But, predators, especially large powerful ones, are lazy as fuck. They conserve energy as much as possible so they can go all out when needed. They don't waste energy on pursuing extra (cats excluded).

But prey animals have to be alert and put a lot of energy into their "work" of finding food.
