In the meetings about Palestinian liberation in October and November I attended, a lot of very smart people who have been involved for years stressed two goals: 1) an immediate stop to the genocide through protest 2) the long-term vision of Palestinian liberation. I try to remind myself of the second goal, daily. The liberation of Palestine which once seemed like a pipe dream will happen, because Israel’s support has evaporated while we build support for Palestine, daily.
