Rev. Odessa Cathode Ray :vepi: on Nostr: No matter how open a particular spiritual practice, there will always be adherents ...
No matter how open a particular spiritual practice, there will always be adherents who attempt to codify, organize, and dogmatize it.
This includes drawing all sorts of connections to make a particular practice sound like it's "all-encompassing" or "the best way" to enlightenment.
Spiritual sales pitches are rejected.
Align the path that offers you *enough*, and that *asks enough* of you.
Too much or too little of either of these, and the path is ineffective at best, destructive at worst.
