My Aunt wants me to call her aunty, and she's been very wonderful.
She apologized to me today for them missing out on my life. She said my biological father was an asshole at the time, and refused for the rest of the family to have anything to do with me. For family harmony they agreed to his wishes. But now she says she doesn't care what he says and he can suck it up or bugger off.
