Life goes, I can't give people the power to control my emotions. I'm just so grateful I didn't suffer as much as my ancestors did. They were literally brought to foreign lands without their consent.
I can't complain at all, I'm truly lucky to be born now and not then. I have way too much mouth, I'd be cooked.
