I'm still learning the ropes of flying, but I guess with United if you get economy basic, then you can't have a carry-on. I apparently bought economy, which is different than both economy plus and basic economy. So I can have a carry-on. I'm less frustrated, but still annoyed by airlines in general.
I guess you cant have a fucking carry on with united unless you pay extra?! The actual fuck.
