One of the subtle details of this as well - tumblr-style reblogs means packing chained posts together but putting a breathing space between chains to clearly delineate where one ends and the next begins. I think there's a noticeable psychological effect of that spacing too, it gives posts more of a sense of importance rather than just being another entry in the twitter-alike stream-of-consciousness feed, and that in turn influences how people approach posting in the first place. At least it does for me.
