So where are we on reparations today?
Just this passed week California Democrats essentially sabotaged the latest efforts.
They passed only one third of the bills needed to begin instituting reparations. But the bill they passed (a land trust) cannot stand alone. Without the 2nd bill, actual funding and the 3rd, a new department to determine eligibility, this version is currently dead in the water.
