Yesterday, I started a new week with a lovely family get together.
I extended all of those warm fuzzies into today and my walk with dear Summer.
While on our morning stroll I realized that I have lived in this same small county for 66 years. I left once and missed the ocean and intensely green landscapes every minute until I moved back.
It didn't help that I moved to the desert.
Recently one of my in-laws was feeling sorry for me living my life in this small town middle of nowhere and missing out on so much. She left home and never looked back.
I don't feel deprived. No regrets.
I did tell her I have a window to the world everyday here on Mastodon. So thank you all for keeping that window open for me.
I love, love seeing your corner of the world. Just as beautiful as mine but different.
I hope she doesn't waste too much more time feeling sorry for me. I'm good.
