crying in the car right now…
Just dropped off the fourth grader. Last night he asked me to wake him up early so he can join me for my morning ceremony and meditation.
I didn’t even have to wake him up. He came downstairs and told me he had a dream about meditating and he’s so excited.
He was able to sit for a 15 minute meditation with me, filled with quiet ”woah”s and “omg”s .
Afterwards, when I asked him how it went… one of the things he said was “I asked my heart to beat faster if I’m lucky to have you teaching me these things. And it did. So to test it I told it to beat slower if it’s true. And it did again. I’m so glad to have you in my life, Laurel.”
