Did you see the video of the Russians blowing the bridges with FPV drones? The Ukrainians rigged them and the Russians found the explosives. It’s complete chaos.
MSC made a good point that when the Ukrainians heard artillery strikes, they asked what was happening and got told they were bombing the Russians, so they all started retreating.
Also, the cluster strikes were at a bridge, not the pipe. We don’t actually know how many Russians came through the pipe and neither do the Ukrainians.
Chaos is an understatement.
