"Forcefully out of balance" makes sense IMO. Bitcoin (among other things) aligns well with a morality set that's been proven for thousands of years. Mainstream culture is a literal rejection of those morals.
It gets difficult over time being attached to folks who can't reintegrate and re-center their view of what's right & what's wrong.
