I think if you really analyze how notes are read, and requested jingles are played, you will find a lot of nuance.
Less donations also makes a difference what notes we might pick up in the non exec category.
I'm actually fine not reading any notes anymore.
If donations are only being made with some form of expectation, outside of returning value, I'm frankly not interested in doing this anymore.
This entire discussion is very disheartening to me personally.
