"content": "I kind of knew the U.S. wasn't really a civilised country but today, thanks to nostr:npub14ukaj9jxt92unn28r7z42n475c7u6typ2cu8wyur4eqrk67tyz9sxs2erc's posts (go follow him!), I learned that in America cops can literally take away any amount of money or other assets you carry and keep it--without ever bringing any charges against you.\n\nAnd only an expensive and lengthy legal process can bring some of it back to you.
