"content": "One of the few things I consciously retain is pronouncing wh- at the beginning of words as a \"hw\" sound. I still find it weird the American pronunciations of Wales and whales are the same, as are weather and whether \n\nFor vocab I mostly code-switch depending on whom I'm talking to: gas vs. petrol, trunk vs. boot, etc.\n\nI also prefer metric measures and use then anytime I think the person I'm talking to grew up with them",
