So I'd ask any lawyers in tooting range, given the SC decision on the enforceability of the 14th amendment without "enabling legislation from Congress", is this consistent with the way the SC has viewed the 1st or 2nd amendments, in that absent any legislation, nobody has standing to enforce the Constitution's clear meaning and intent before the SC ? I believe the "joining but warning" SCJs were getting at this, and it's their job, in my view, to answer this question (as the highest court in the land), not to simply ask it rhetorically as part of a unanimous decision...
This is like me as a software engineering leader saying "yeah, there a major bug impacting our customers' data and cybersecurity, but lets address it in the Sprint planning next month"
